One week and 4 million sales for iPhone 4S

The latest press release from Apple show us the popularity of the iPhone 4S smartphone. In just three days, Apple has sold over 4 million smartphones, and right now, over 25 million of iDevices owners runs on iOS 5 operating system.
“iPhone 4S is off to a great start with more than four million sold in its first weekend—the most ever for a phone and more than double the iPhone 4 launch during its first three days,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “iPhone 4S is a hit with customers around the world, and together with iOS 5 and iCloud, is the best iPhone ever.”
The 4S apple brings some new features including the Siri application, and hardware upgrades like a dual-core A5 CPU with 1GHz frequency and full 1080p HD resolution video recording.

Apple announced the iPhone 4S in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland starting October 28.
