Motorola DROID RAZR hits the shelves in UK, next is US
Motorola DROID RAZR has just become available in UK stores and it will be released in US on November 11 at 11.11 AM.
For those who are eager to buy the new handset, the unlocked version costs about £455 after taxes. If that seems too much for you, O2 will release the Motorola RAZR this month and you can buy it then with a signed long-term deal.
US fans don’t have to wait for long because on November 11, Verizon will be releasing the DROID RAZR. The phone can already be pre-ordered and if you do, you will get a “bonus”, receiving the phone on November 10. What you need to know is that it will cost you $299 on a two-year contract and $649 without it.
Now, many of you may not know but here’s the deal with the new DROID RAZR: it brings a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen with 540×960 resolution, multi-touch input and Gorilla Glass, an 8MP auto-focus camera with face detection and geotagging, full HD video recording, LED flash and a 1.3MP front facing camera. It works at high speed thanks to 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with the possibility of extension thanks to the microSD card slot. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, standard microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack facilities. Being a respectable smartphone, it runs the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and features a built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor.
