Rumor: LG prepares to present a Honeycomb tablet at CES 2011

It is very possible to see on January 6 at CES 2011 a new Android Honeycomb Tablet of LG, according to a recent post of phonearena team.

The LG Android Tablet is expected to come with Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, same as the LG Optimus 2X smartphone and with Android Honeycomb operating system.

According to LG officials: “While the existing tablet PCs focus on e-book, movie, music and the Internet functions, LG’s new tablet PC is jumping into the market with more diverse contents based on powerful functions.” The folks at LG have also called it “better than the iPad… and surprisingly productive“.

The LG Tablet is expected to have a 10 inch touchscreen.

The CES 2011 location is at Las Vegas, Nevada USA and is open between Thursday, January 6, 10 AM – 6 PM and Sunday, January 9, 9 AM – 4 PM.
