Xperia Pro available for pre-order in UK. Release date late-July

Sony Ericsson has delayed the release date of Xperia Pro in UK with a month, since the initial date was somewhere in June. According do the SE-Store, the new release date of Xperia Pro will be late-July.

The Xperia Pro smartphone was officially presented at MWC 2011 event when Sony Ericsson launched at the same time Xperia Neo. Xperia Pro features a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.7 touchscreen display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and 8 megapixels camera with 720p video recording. Xperia Pro runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The slide-out QWERTY Xperia Pro is available now for pre-order on online store, and has been priced at £349.99 ($568) SIM free. So, if you want this new Android device you’ll have to wait a few while because the release date will be somewhere in late July.
