Vodafone 945 and 553 Android-powered devices gets official
Following the footsteps of the popular Vodafone 845 launched in April 2010, 945 is Vodafone’s second, very competitive priced Android smartphone. These devices were released today via Vodafone press release.
Vodafone 945 runs the Android 2.1 operating system and features a 3.2 capacitive multi-touch touchscreen, 5 megapixels camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi and 300 MB internal storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Vodafone 553 is a smartphone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2.8 inch rotatable touchscreen, 2 megapixels camera, Bluetooth, Radio FM, and microSD card slot with up to 8 GB external memory. This phone comes in black, white, silver or pink colors.
“The 553 is an ideal phone for email, messaging and mobile internet. It comes with Opera Mini 5.0 for mobile internet browsing, and just one tap from the start-up screen takes the user straight to email or to leading social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk and Yahoo! Messenger. The phone is powered by Vodafone’s 360 People – an address book which brings a customer’s various online contact lists together in one place and makes them available both on the phone and automatically backed up and in sync at www.360.com.“
Vodafone 945 and Vodafone 553 are expected to become available for sale around Christmas.
