The list of Motorola devices that will receive ICS update
Today Motorola show us via press release, the list with all devices already launched, that will receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
From the list of devices that will receive the software update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich are this smartphones and tablets:
- DROID RAZR
- DROID RAZR MAXX
- DROID 4
- DROID BIONIC
- DROID XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1
- MOTOROLA XOOM Wi-Fi + 3G/4G
As a listing by regions, updates will be available:
1. In USA – the Ice Cream Sandwich comes to Motorola XOOM Family Edition in Q3 this year and for XOOM Wi-Fi only the ICS update is already available. Other devices are ATRIX 2 and ATRIX 4G MB860, PHOTON 4G, XYBOARD 8.2 and 10.1 in Q3 2012.
2. In Canada – Motorola RAZR is the only devices that will receive the ICS update in Q2 2012.
3. In Europe, Middle East and Africa – the ICS update will be available in Q2 2012 for Motorola RAZR, XOOM Wi-Fi Only MZ604. For Motorola XOOM 2 and XOOM 2 Media Edition this update will be available in Q3 same year.
4. Asia-Pacific – Motorola MT917 (China), RAZR XT910/ XT910S/ XT910K, XT928 (China), XOOM 3G (Korea), XOOM Wi-Fi Only MZ604 and MZ606 (China) will receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update in Q2 2012. For Motorola ATRIX 2 and XOOM 2 all users must wait the update in Q3.
5. Latin America and Mexico – first devices that will receive the ICS update are Motorola RAZR and XOOM Wi-Fi only MZ604 in Q2 and in Q3 this update can be installed in ATRIX 2, XOOM 2 and XOOM Media Edition.
