Two new phones hit AT&T carrier: Sony Ericsson Vivaz and LG Encore

AT&T carrier announced two new smartphones which are already available for purchase.

Vivaz is priced at $79.99 for a 2-year contract and requires a $15/month data service. Without a contract the phone costs $279.99.

Vivaz features a 3.2 inch touchscreen with 16 million colors and 360 x 640 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 720 MHz processor and runs the Symbian S60 5th edition operating system. Other specifications include a 8 megapixels camera with LED flash and autofocus, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The specification list of LG Encore include a 3 inch TFT touchscreen with 240 x 400 pixels resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and 32 MB internal memory expandable up to 16 GB via microSD card. Encore has a 3 megapixels camera, 3.5 mm audio jack and A-GPS.

LG Encore is slightly cheaper, $49.99 for a 2-year contract and $199.99 unlocked and without contract.
