T-Mobile Expands HSPA+ 4G Network in 5 New Markets

The 5 new locations that can now access their 21 Mbps network are: Des Moines, Iowa; Gainesville and Panama City, Florida; Monterey, California and Savannah, Georgia. The T-Mobile is already touting its HSPA+ 4G network as the largest 4G network in the United States, reaching users in more than 100 metropolitan areas and 200 million people nationwide.
“With download speeds approaching five Mbps in some cities & peak speeds of nearly 12 Mbps on its original 4G devices, T-Mobile customers using 4G can enjoy a lightning fast Web browsing experience, uninterrupted video streaming and quicker downloads at no additional cost,” T-Mobile notes and their goal is to cover over 140 million Americans with the enhanced 4G network by mid-2011.
