Motorola DROID X2 officially announced – release date on Verizon Wireless available

droid-x2-frontToday, via press release Motorola launched the CDMA phone DROID X2, an smartphone with Android 2.2 Froyo OS, 4.3 inches qHD screen and dual-core 1GHz processor.

Motorola Droid X2 featured a 4.3 inches capacitive touchscreen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.2 Froyo OS, upgradable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The DROID X2 will be available online at Verizon Wireless carrier on May 19 and in Verizon Wireless Communication Stores on May 26 for $199.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.

DROID X2 customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a smartphone data package. Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 for monthly access and an unlimited smartphone data plan is $29.99 for monthly access.
