BlackBerry Torch 9800 comes to Telus and Rogers on September 24

Today, Telus and Rogers carrier announced the purchase date and the price of BlackBerry Torch 9800 with contract.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 360 x 480 pixels resolution and a 5 megapixels camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable to record video at VGA resolution.

It also comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, 4 GB internal storage up to 32 GB via microSD card, 512 MB RAM. BB Torch 9800 includes a 624 MHz processor, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP connectivity, and will run the BlackBerry OS 6 with preinstalated apps: BlackBerry Maps, Social feeds, and a document editor for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 on Rogers will cost $199 for a 3 year contract. Telus didn’t confirm the price yet, but we might guess is around $199.
