Sony Ericsson expand Xperia familly with Neo V
Today, Sony Ericsson has annonuced a new smartphone, Xperia Neo V, the first device from Xperia family with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V features a 3.7-inches screen with 480 x 854 pixels resolution, 5 megapixels camera capable to record videos at 720p resolution, 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, Adreno 205 graphics and 512 MB of RAM. Other specs of Xperia Neo V include an HDMI port.
The release date of Xperia Neo V will be somewhere in Q4 this year.
Also, Sony Ericsson mentioned in the press release a new great information: “we are happy to tell you that today we announced that the 2.3.4 version of Gingerbread platform for all the 2011 Xperia™ Smartphones will start the roll out during October at select markets“.

- Google Talk with Video Chat for smartphones with front-facing cameras

- Xperia™ smartphones introducing world’s first 3D sweep panorama functionality powered by Sony.
- The software upgrade will enable consumers to turn their Xperia™ smartphone into a mini-mobile PC by connecting USB peripherals (mouse, keyboard or game controller) to Sony Ericsson LiveDock™ multimedia station. Connect the smartphone to a TV via HDMI to get a big screen experience.
