Update for HTC HD mini and Touch Pro2, enhance the stabillity of SMS

HTC Touch PRO2 and Mini HDHTC Touch Pro2 (ROM version 2.08.XX) and HD Mini (ROM 1.36.XX) are affected and as always we advise proceed, and in general to keep your devices up to date and as bug free as possible.

Install instructions for HTC HD mini

Note:  This update is suitable for ROM versions less than or equal to 1.36.XXX.X.

Follow the instructions below to download and install the update on your device:

1. Make sure you have Microsoft ActiveSync® installed on your Windows XP PC or Windows Mobile Device Center on your Windows Vista® PC. You can find Microsoft ActiveSync from this link or Windows Mobile Device Center from this link.

2. Connect and synchronize your device with your PC via Microsoft ActiveSync® or Windows Mobile Device Center using the USB cable.

3. Download the Update file “PHO03611.exe” to your PC or NB.

4. Copy PHO03611.exe, to your device.

To install the Update, Follow the instruction below

1.   Tap the PHO03611.exe which must be copied to your phone and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

* If you performed a hard reset of your device, you need to reinstall the Update after the hard reset.

Install instructions for HTC Touch Pro2

Note:  This update is suitable for ROM versions less than or equal to 2.08.XXX.X.

Follow the instructions below to download and install the update on your device:

4. Copy RHO_S2_00896.exe, to your device.

To install the Update, Follow the instruction below

1.   Tap the RHO_S2_00896.exe which must be copied to your phone and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

* If you performed a hard reset of your device, you need to reinstall the Update after the hard reset.
