Rumor: Windows Phone 7 to be launched on October 11 in New York

I have noticed all the multitude of phones with the new Microsoft operating system, Windows Phone 7, and the rumors are starting to emerge about the release date.

First rumor comes from ubergizmo.com. According to a recent post they affirm that the new operating system will arrive on October 11 and will take place in New York.

Until now, only one single Windows Phone 7-powered device was officialy announced, but on September 15 another one will also be announced, the HTC HD3. Other phones with Windows Phone 7 are expected to arrive soon:  HTC Mondrian, Gold, Mozart, Shubert, T8788, Spark, Dell Lightning, LG C900, E900, Samsung Cetus i917 and probably a lot more.
