Now you can save MP4 Clips on your Droid Incredible

Until now, the owners of a Droid Incredible could only save the filming clips in a 3GP format. But that’s over, because thanks to xda guys, you can no enjoy the quality of MP4 format.

It seems that Droid Incredible actually shoots the clips in MP4 format but it automatically converts into 3GP, losing the video’s quality. We don’t know exactly what’s wrong but it might be a wrong bug.

But forget about that, the XDA members got a solution for you: a small patch that will disallow the conversion into 3GP. This patch change the file’s extension only if the video is being recorded in a MP4 stream.

If you want this patch on your Droid go to xda-developers, but remember to backup your original HTCCamera.apk before proceeding.
