LG Optimus One will receive Android 2.3 update in May

We has just discovered a recent post on LG’s Facebook page saying that LG Optimus will soon receive the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update by the end of May.

It seems this new Gingerbread update will be available in Android Market, and we hope it won’t be any kind of delays like it happened with so many Android devices. Of course as it says in the Facebook comment, “This information is subject to change and confirmation on the upgrade is yet awaited“.
