HTC Desire S receives Gingerbread 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0
The HTC Desire S also known as the successor of the HTC Desire was first revealed at the MWC in Barcelona earlier this year, somewhere in February.
And since is the successor of the Desire, it brings a better performance and a great variety of improvements speaking in terms of a better GPU, and also a faster connectivity and better GPS performance. It also presents bigger amounts of RAM and ROM, but it doesn’t have as much improved features as we would like to see.
Now, at launch the Desire S came with Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 and the HTC’s Sense 2.1, but now the situation is starting to change because the HTC Desire S will receive the Gingerbread 2.3.5 and Sense 3.0 UI. It seems that the UK owners are already starting to report the update on their devices since the last day of September. This upgrade from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5 and from Sense 2.1 to 3.0 will bring some new enhancements and improvements such as key updates, the latest version of the Android Market, new animations, an updated launcher as well as a host of new widgets.
This OTA update has already been confirmed by a few blogs and the OP has also provided some screen shots that clearly show the device running Sense 3.0 with Android 2.3.5, and seems that the first lucky owners are in Orange in the UK.
