Google changes the Gmail interface of iPad

gmail-ipadGoogle announced some few changes for iPad’s interface. The previous modification of Gmail for iOS was last year in April, when iPad suffered a complete redesign of the web application’s underlying code.

This new interface improves speed and has some new buttons. In the previous version there was two similar toolbars on the screen (one on the bottom left and the other on top right), that were affecting the open conversation. This problem is gone in the new version. Now, selected conversations are displayed stacked on the right panel for an easy organizing, archiving or deleting. Also, the second toolbar is gone, so is always clear which conversation you’re working with.

The new Gmail for iPad is now available in US. If you want to try it go to Safari browser and navigate to gmail.com.
