Facebook v3.4 app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad brings Map View for Places and more

The latest 3.4 version of the Facebook application for iPhone and iPad was officially updated today. This update brings new features like map view for places, and the ability to un-friend from the phone.

Also, the version 3.4 brings a large number of bug fixes. See below the complete list of new features:

– Added Map View for Places
– Added the ability to Check in to Events that you’re attending
– Added the ability to un-friend from the phone
– Improved News Feed
– Improved notifications UI

Facebook app is available for download from here or you can simply update your current Facebook App from iOS App Store. The app requires iOS 3.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Also, this new 3.4 version is available in English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish languages.
