Facebook 1.4 for Android and 3.3.1 for iPhone are available for download

Facebook announced a new update of Facebook app for Android and iPhone.

This new version brings support for Places, Groups and Improved Notifications. Also some bug fixes were solved.

The “Groups” feature allows you to  share posts with small groups of friends., with “Places” you can share your current location with your friends and also see where your friends are. It is also a great feature if you want to explore and discover places nearby. The “Improved notifications” feature enables you to view comments and updates within the app.

Facebook app for Android version 1.4 is now available in Android Market, but let’s not forget about the iPhone. A few minutes after the announcement of Facebook 1.4 for Android, the 3.3.1 Facebook version was pushed for iPhone and is also available in AppStore.
