Samsung Wave 3 available in Europe

The latest Bada OS handset, Samsung Wave 3, has just landed in Europe.

Announced in September, Samsung Wave 3 will become available in France, Germany, Italy and Russia followed by other European countries before the end of 2011. However, there are no details available regarding the price of the handset.

The smartphone carries a 4 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 480×800 resolution and features Gorilla Glass display, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, multi-touch input method, proximity sensor for auto turn-off, handwriting recognition and smart unlock. The 5MP camera with LED flash and auto-focus features geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stabilization and touch focus. On the front there is the VGA camera for video chat.

Packing a 1.4GHz processor, it brings 4GB of internal memory which can be expanded using a microSD card, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, microUSB 2.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct and 3.5mm audio jack. Of course, we should not forget that the Wave 3 runs the Samsung’s Bada Operating System 2.0.
