Samsung Galaxy S2 to launch on August 29 in US
Samsung has announced that it will officially launch the Samsung Galaxy S2 in US on August 29, 2011, in New York City.
The Galaxy S2 is one of the most anticipated devices by US Android-lovers and Samsung has already sold more than 3 million devices.
Samsung Galaxy S2 features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, a 8-megapixel camera with Full HD 1080p video recording and a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB of internal storage (with a microSD slot), NFC Support, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, and can support certain USB devices (mice, external hard drives) through the USB-On-The-Go protocol.
Different rumors says that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will likely launch as the Galaxy S 2 Attain (on AT&T), S 2 Function (on Verizon), and S 2 Within (on Sprint). The Galaxy S2 has already been on sale in Europe and Asia, setting sales records for Samsung and it’s definitely one of the powerful highly-anticipated device Android devices of this year.
