Rumor: Xperia X12 Arc, a super-slim Sony Ericsson smartphone with Android 2.3

Sony Ericsson prepares another Xperia device, with a large display and with very small thickness.

The rumours says its name is expected to be Xperia Arc and the specification list is possible to include a 4.2 inch capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support and 480 x 854 pixels resolution, 8 megapixels camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable to record HD videos. Xperia X12 Arc runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Also, according to source, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is possible to come equipped with a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, HDMI port and 1500 mAh battery.

Sony Ericsson Arc has a special form with variable thickness, from 9 mm (the thickest point) and 8.7 mm (the thinnest point). XPERIA Arc measures 125 x 63 x 9 mm.

The release date and the price of Xperia X10 was not announced yet, but I’m very sure it will be presented tomorrow at CES 2011.
