New BlackBerry Bold 9790 lands in UK at Vodafone and O2
BlackBerry Bold 9790 is heading to Vodafone and O2 in UK.
One of the newly announced smartphones from RIM, BlackBerry Bold 9790 is already set to join two mobile carriers from UK, O2 and Vodafone. Word on the street is that it will be available to everyone on O2 starting January next year and to enterprise customers from Vodafone. What we don’t know yet is the price of the new Bold 9790 but I’m sure it won’t be long until the information will come out.
If you don’t know what’s the deal with Bold 9790, let me bring you up to speed: it packs a 1GHz processor with internal memory of 8GB, 768MB of RAM and possibility to extend the memory up to 32GB using a microSD card. Also, it has a 2.45-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 480×360. Of course, the traditional QWERTY keyboard is present, the accelerometer and proximity sensor also along with the multitouch feature.
It has a 5MP camera with 2592×1944 resolution, autofocus and LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, a microUSB slot , a 3.5mm audio jack and runs the BlackBerry 7.0 Operating System.
