Motorola Droid 3 – specs and release date revealed
Motorola Droid 3 was finally revealed and it was confirmed that it will arrive to Verizon later this month. It packs a lot of goodies, including the Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The new Droid 3 is the successor of the original Droid and Droid 2 and will feature a 4 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, a 5-row sliding QWERTY keyboard, and comes with the latest features, dual-core processor with each core clocked in at 1GHz, complemented by 16GB of internal memory. Droid 3 features an 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, and also a camera on the front, for video chatting while on the go. Unfortunately, the Droid 3 will not include the LTE connectivity, but it will support Verizon’s 3G network, as well as with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, world connectivity, and more. Motorola Droid 3 will run the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and will offer support for various mobile services from Google and specific applications and services available for Verizon’s customers only.
Motorola Droid 3 will be available starting July 3 direct fill, and will arribe in Verizon’s stores starting July 14. And i’m sure you’re also interested about the price of this new Droid 3 smartphine, but unfortunately there is still no official word about the price, but rumors says that it can’t be higher than $200 on contract.
