Motorola Atrix 2 arrives at AT&T, but is cheaper at Amazon
A brand new smartphone has just been released on AT&T for only $100. Its name is Motorola Atrix 2 and is the predecessor of the ATRIX 4G that was launched earlier this year.
Motorola Atrix 2 features a 4.3 inch qHD touchscreen, with an 8 megapixel camera capable of autofocus and a flash, and there’s also a secondary videocall camera upfront for videochating. It runs the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and packs a 1GHz dual core CPU, on top of that with 1GB of RAM. It also features 8GB of internal storage and support for compatibility with the Lapdock laptop dock, that provide the possibility to turn the ATRIX 2 into a netbook PC. Other features include a microSD card support, 21 Mbps HSDPA, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 1,785 mAh battery. The phone will also offer the AT&T’s HSPA+ connectivity, which is about as fast as 3G can go at this moment.
The price tag of this new Atrix 2 is $100 on AT&T with a 2 years contract, but there’s also a cheaper option at Amazon for the same device, with the same two-year AT&T contract, for just $49.99. So, if you really want this phone in your pocket visit Amazon and order it from there.
