LG Optimus 7 is the first Windows Phone 7 device officially announced
LG is now the first mobile phone company that announced the first Windows Phone 7 device. Its name is Optimus 7 and was revealed for the first time this week at the IFA event from Berlin.
LG Optimus 7 is the first WP7 device with DLNA technology and features a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, accelerometer and proximity sensor. Other specifications include a a 5 megapixels camera with autofocus and LED flash capable to record HD videos, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and GPS receiver.
The DLNA technology of Optimus 7 is capable to show all the multimedia content from a phone to another DLNA device, just like a TV with DLNA. The multimedia content transfer can be made via Wi-Fi to any other DLNA device.
LG Optimus 7 is expected to become available in markets at the end of this year. The price was not revealed yet, but we will find out very soon.
