HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket join AT&T

The newest acquisitions of the AT&T company are recently released HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

HTC Vivid brings a 4.5 inch TFT touchscreen display with high resolution and an 8MP camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and video recording capabilities. Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS at high speed thanks to 1.2 GHz dual core processor, it comes along with features and applications such as Google search, Maps, Gmail, G Talk, YouTube and Picasso integration, fast internet browsing, HTML browser, JAVA enabled with MIDP emulator.

Furthermore it has Wireless LAN Wi-Fi facility, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and a 3.5mm audio jack. It can extend its internal storage with a SD card up to 32 GB support.

When we talk about Galaxy S II Skyrocket, we talk about the 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus Screen with 800×480 resolution, an 8MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and 2MP front-facing camera. What draws the attention is the 1.5GHz dual core processor with 16GB internal memory that can be extended using 32GB external memory and the 4G LTE capabilities. Just like  in the case of its new buddy, HTC Vivid, as an operating platform we find Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

If you are tempted by one of these two new smartphones, what you need to know is that you can purchase the Vivid for $199.99 and the Skyrocket for $249.99. However, in some regions are sale prices like $99.99 and $149.99 respectively.
