Butterfly – the high-end smartphone from HTC
HTC announced a new smartphone this week, an high-end device, which is similar with version of the J Butterfly released in Japan about 2 months ago.
Compared with version of Japan, the HTC Butterfly is same device, with only modification of network, which was designed to run on GSM networks.
The most interesting part of HTC Butterfly is the screen. It has 5-inches and 1080p resolution (~441 PPI pixels density), which makes me think that Butterfly’s screen has the highest density of pixels per inch off all smartphones launched so far.
The camera of HTC Butterfly has 8-megapixels with 28mm lens and F2.0 aperture. These specifications of camera, we indicate that we can easily take pictures in low light conditions. This camera can make photos with 3264 x 2448 pixels and can make movies at 1080p resolution. Of course there is also a secondary camera, with 2.1-megapixels resolution, capable to record videos at same 1080p resolution.
HTC Butterfly is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage but expandable with a microSD card. About OS, HTC Butterfly runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The release date and the price was not revealed.
