Android Kit Kat for HTC One Google Play Edition now available in US

After Nexus devices, is the time for HTC device to bring the latest update of Android, the version 4.4 KitKat. If you have the version GPE (Google Play Edition) of HTC One you have reasons to be happy, according to @HTCUSA the update is already prepared to be installed on the One GPE.

Good news, we’ve delivered KitKat code to Google for HTC One GPE. Timing of push via PlayStore to be determined by Google.

The new update will come with bigger icons for user interface, the new app for SMS/ MMS/ GTalk, Handouts that brings all messages all in one app. Also, the Kitkat update comes with a new app for email.

I think, very soon, the Korean team from Samsung will make a same announcement for Samsung Galaxy S4 GPE, but until now is no rumor about this update.
