Twitter 3.5 for iOS released, enables official photo uploads
Twitter has just released a new update for its iOS application, preparing for the iOS5 launch.
The iPhone and iPad version of Twitter has been updated to 3.5.0 v and brings minor enhancements and some new features, some of them specially optimized for the iPad.
The new 3.5 version brings a great number of performance and stability enhancements, and also a few bugs fixes, offering some new and enhanced signup options, but also a star feature which is the new photo sharing (pic.twitter.com) that lets users share photos directly through Twitter, which has partnered with Photobucket to power the image hosting.Other features include:
– An enhanced sign up experience
– Option to upload photos to Twitter (pic.twitter.com)
– New Direct Messages interface that shows threaded conversations in chronological order
– You can tap a location to show Tweets nearby on iPad
All of these features except of the enhance sign-on should work on the on the previous iOS devices. You can download the new 3.0 version of Twitter for iOS devices from the Apple iTunes Store.
