Hulu Android app now available for ten Android devices

A few weeks ago, Hulu has released itS app in the Android Market, but at that time it was only compatible for a few Android devices. But things have changed now, and the guys from Hulu are trying day by day to bring this great app to more Android smartphones.

At launch, the app would work with the Nexus One, Nexus S, HTC Inspire 4G, Motorola Droid II, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Atrix smartphones. Recently they have announced four Android phones, all of them HTC: HTC EVO 4G, HTC Thunderbolt, T-Mobile’s myTouch 4G, T-Mobile’s G2. So, until this moment there’s a total of ten compatible phones for the Hulu app, which offers you the possibility of watching TV shows and movies on the go.

If you’re interested in the Hulu app, you can hit the Android Market and download it from there, and you should know you’ll need a Hulu Plus subscription to use it. There’s also the possibility to sign up for a free one-week trial, or for a month if you use an .edu email address. If the trial has convinced you, the Hulu Plus offers a lot of goodies including:

  • Watch all TV episodes available from Hulu
  • Watch full series runs or back seasons of classic shows like The X-Files, Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Law and Order
  • Search and browse for shows and videos and manage your queue directly from your supported Android device
  • Watch movies from Miramax and the Criterion Collection, including Pulp Fiction, The English Patient, Breathless, Modern Times and hundreds more
  • Resume play from where you left off on other Hulu Plus devices, including your computer and select mobile phones, tablets, internet-connected TVs and Blu-ray players
  • Watch over WiFi, 3G and 4G
