The latest OS for BlackBerry Pearl 3G is now official and available for download via Pelephone.

We’re sorry to announce you that this is not the BB OS 6 that you have all expected, is just a new 5.x.x.x. version.

If you want to update BlackBerry Pearl 3G to OS 5.0.0.972 but Pelephone is not your carrier, you can delete the vendor.xml file and go on. Before downloading be sure to have 137.7 MB available on your BB.
