Samsung Galaxy Note available in India for $700

The availability of Samsung Galaxy Note in India was just announced for $700(Rs 34,500).

Although the smartphone was introduced in India last month, it landed on the market today and is available for purchase.

Galaxy Note is the first smartphone with a huge 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display of 1280×800 pixels resolution. It also comes with a stylus called the S Pen. The smart pen features functions such as pressure sensitivity, preciseness or speed and is used to sketch drawings, write notes easily and accurately or personalize photos and videos.

Equipped with a 1.4 GHz ARM-based dual-core processor and a Mali-400 MP graphics processing unit, the phone packs 16/32 GB storage, 1 GB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Powered by Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform, the handset is provided with a high speed LTE and HSPA+ connectivity. In addition, on the back there is a powerful 8 MP camera with LED flash that can capture every moment in deep detail while on the front a 2MP camera is available for video calling.

Galaxy Note provides a number of helpful and powerful features such as S Planner or S memo. Using S Planner, business users and not only can manage their complicated schedules while S memo allows users to record ideas which later can be edited and shared.
