Leak: Software update for BlackBerry Bold 9650: OS 6.0.0.222

An unofficial software update for BlackBerry Bold 9650 is now available for download.

BlackBerry OS 6 for Bold 9650 installation steps:

To update (for PC):

1) Most importantly, backup your settings, contacts, and apps to the Desktop Manager before installing the new OS (BerryReview suggests using BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife)

2) After installing the OS update to your PC, delete the ‘Vendor.xml’ file found at C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch In MotionAppLoader

3) If the Desktop Manager does not detect the update, you can open the App Loader from the above location, and select the update to install

4) To get the Social Feeds function, you must manually select it in the App Loader
