Two new phones from Nokia: X1-01 and C2-00 with dual-SIM. Release date and price available

Nokia-X1-01-C2-00Today, Nokia annonuced two new low-cost phones, X1-01 and C2-00, both with dual-SIM.

According to Nokia, these phones “offer a Dual SIM experience superior to any other models on the market, remembering the settings for up to five different SIM cards – and with no compromise on battery life, music features or messaging.

For both phones the Dual-Standby is available. This function allow users to chose which SIM card to use for calls, messages and other functions and switch between them easily from call to call. Also, you can always receive notification of calls and messages on each account.

Nokia X1-01 dual-SIM is a phone specially designed for music play. It has a massive speaker on the back, 3.5 mm audio jack and supports microSD cards up to 16 GB. Also, Nokia X1-01 comes with FM radio, and MP3 music player with dedicated music keys. The settings are available for up to five separate SIM cards, the Nokia X1-01 also lets you give each SIM its own logo, music signature or ringtone. X1-01 runs the Series 30 operating system.

Nokia C2-00 dual-SIM offers an Easy Swap for SIM cards. One SIM card is stored internally, like a traditional phone, and the second card is easily accessible through a slot in the side. In comparison with X1-01 Nokia C2-01, it has a VGA camera and support microSD cards up to 32 GB. Nokia C2-00 runs Series 40, which offers some key advantages in the form of internet access, a web browser and Nokia Messaging for email.

The battery autonomy of Nokia X1-01 is expected to be great, 43 days standby, 13 hours talk time, or 36 hours for music play. For Nokia C2-00, the standby time is 19.2 days and 5.75 hours talk time.

The Nokia X1-01 and Nokia C2-00 will start to ship this quarter in India, China, South-East Asia/Pacific region, Middle East and Africa, Eurasia and Brazil. Before local taxes or subsidies, the X1-01 will cost €34 while the C2-00 will cost €45.
