Software update for Nokia X6-00: v 30.0.003

It seems to be an update week for Nokia, which is offering more and more software updates for as many Nokia users as possible.

After the Nokia 5800 software update to version 52.0.007, now it’s time for the x6-00 to taste a new firmware update v 30.0.003. This new 30.0.003 update for X6-00 brings some new features and enhancements like:

– Here and Now
– New version of Ovi Maps and Ovi Store
– Improved Browser
– Improved chat in Ovi Contacts

You can check the availability of this new 30.0.003 update on Applications > SW Updates, choose the version available for you and follow the instructions. Before hitting the update, don’t forget to back up all data on your Nokia device, to be sure you don’t lose anything during the process.

You can grab the update either from the device itself, over the air or via Wi-Fi, through using the handset’s SW update feature. Another option is to get the v 30.0.003 via a desktop PC with the Nokia Software Updater or Nokia Ovi Suite.
