Honeycomb upgrade for HTC EVO View 4G out now
Sprint has good news for all the HTC EVO View 4G owners as their handsets are now receiving the Honeycomb update.
If everyone is speaking about updates these days, why wouldn’t HTC EVO View 4G be one of the lucky devices? Therefore, the tablet from Sprint is now upgrading to Honeycomb 3.2. If you are anxious to see if it is already available for you, go to Settings > System Updates > HTC Software Update > Check now.
However, let me tell you a bit about what this update is bringing. It seems that the Physical Hard keys are replaced with on screen Soft keys and there is a new Google search available on every page. The System Bar gives a quick access to notifications, status and soft navigation buttons are available at the bottom of the screen. The Notifications menu, on the other hand, has been moved to the bottom right corner of the screen, on the System Bar.
The Action Bar is the key to contextual, changing menus that are controlled by each application and it can be accessed by touching the Plus Sign icon at the top right of the screen. The update brings a new Google video chat and enhanced security including Sprint Data Link and 3LM. Also, the bug that kept Bluetooth from working in airplane mode is now fixed.
