LG Thrill 4G release date on AT&T – September 4th
AT&T has officially announced on Twitter that it will launch the LG Thrill 4G (a.k.a. LG Optimus 3D) on September 4th, and it brings glasses-free 3D with it. Even though it has been delayed a few times at least it will have an amazing price.
LG Thrill 4G Offers some dazzling 3D images on its 4.3 inch WVGA screen, and features a dual-core TI OMAP4 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM aboard, 8GB storage that can be expanded to as much as 40GB using a microSD card. A 5MP camera with dual lens captures video at 1080p in 2D and 720p (at 24fps) in 3D. It also packs HDMI out and support for AT&T 4G (HSPA+, not LTE). The international version was launched with the Android 2.2 OS, but we hope that the new AT&T version gets Android 2.3. Another really great thing about this phone is that it will soon be able to convert almost any 3D game into a stereoscopic 3D game. Seems that National Geographic photographers have also been using it to shoot photos and videos.
The Thrill 4G will hit AT&T on September 4 and it’s being reported that it will only cost $99 with a new two-year contract. The price that AT&T put on LG Thrill 4G is a really decent option, making it an affordable and really cool smartphone.
