Twitter v1.1 available for BlackBerry devices

twitter-11-bbTwitter has released the version 1.1 of their app for all devices with BlackBerry OS 4.5 or above.

The version 1.1 of Twitter for BlackBerry app include updates that push notification for all messages with @mentions, support for direct messages, hash-tags and has a refreshed user interface.

– Direct Messages support, threaded in the style of BBM conversations
– Hash-tag topic auto-complete
– Support for retweets
– Refreshed UI
– New gesture support, including “pull and refresh” updating
– Additional languages, including Polish and Czech

Twitter v1.1 client is free and is available for download from BlackBerry Beta Zone. This version is available for all BlackBerry devices with OS 4.5 or above.
