If you don’t know, this HTC is not the first Gold edition of One smartphone. This version comes after 5 versions of HTC One announced by HTC UK in October.

This version is the version for USA, and has 24-karat gold case. The price for this jewelry smartphone is 2500$, smallest compared with the price for version UK that was priced for about 4,400$.

The first person who came in direct contact with HTC One Gold USA is Christina Ascani, from mashable, which tell us “While handling this super-limited edition 24-carat gold HTC One, I couldn’t help but be struck by its color. Real gold has a yellow hue which makes it distinct and unique from other pure metals. Compared to the more champagne nature of my gold iPhone 5S, real gold definitely carries a lot more bling.”

Now, the most exclusivist smartphones of the year, iPhone 5s, Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, have a gold coated case.

According to our source, two of HTC One Gold USA edition will be handed out following a competition made by HTC that runs through the New Year.

HTC One comes with only 4 megapixels camera – see why

HTC One comes with only 4 megapixels camera – see why

htc-oneYes, yes is true! HTC announced today simultaneous in London & in New York, the new high-end device named One with the smallest camera which I see in markets now for other similar devices.

I think we all wondered, why only 4-megapixels camera? True? HTC responds to this question with a single word, Ultrapixel – ”doing the right thing for image quality”. Everything is ok so far, but more pixels increase the quality of photos, no? Hower, i don’t want to criticize this initiative, and I will expect to see some full resolution pictures shoted by HTC One 4-megapixels camera.

In technical words, the Ultrapixel 4-megapixel sensor measures one-third of an inch, which is the same size as the sensors found in phones as the Nokia Lumia 920 or iPhone 5. The F2 apperture of camera allows to make better photos in low-light conditions. Each pixel on HTC’s backside-illuminated sensor has an area of 4 square microns. By comparison, every pixel in the 8-megapixel sensor of last year’s HTC One X had an area of 1.96 square microns per pixel.

First quad-core on its way

First quad-core on its way

If you are already tired of the single core or even dual core handsets, HTC are preparing a quad-core new baby, HTC Edge.

Apparently, the smartphone will be the first Tegra 3-powered Android smartphone with a 4.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a maximum 1280×720 resolution, 720p display and an 8MP camera with 28-millimeter f/2.2 lens.

Of course, we shouldn’t forget the AP30 Tegra CPU from NVIDIA which offers four 1.5GHz cores. In addition to all this, the smartphone will have 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0 and 32 GB internal storage. Regarding the software, it will also have improved HTC services such as HTC Listen(music store), HTC Read(book store), HTC Play (used for gaming), HTC Watch and HTC’s custom user interface, HTC Sense 4.0.

Now, I don’t know how you feel but this sure sounds good for a smartphone and personally, I can’t wait to see this out there on shelves. The thing is, we still have no information regarding its availability or its price but we’ll sure expect it in 2012 running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
