Good news for Nokia N8, C7, C-01 and E7 owners, the Anna update for your device is now available for download.

This update is available using the latest version of Ovi Suite (version 3.1.1) on a PC.

Nokia has announced a new Symbian^3 device called Nokia 500, which will be available in 6 great colors. Also, the new 500 is the first Nokia device powered by a 1GHz processor.
Nokia 500 runs on the Symbian^3 OS version called Anna. The Anna’s OS offer a refreshed UI, a better browser and split-screen messaging. Nokia 500 smartphone comes with the latest version of Nokia Maps app for free drive and walk navigation.
The hardware specification of Nokia 500 devices features a 1 GHz processor, 2GB storage plus maximum 32GB if you use a microSD card. The camera has 5 megapixels, and is capable to record videos at VGA resolution with 15fps. The battery of Nokia 500 has 1110 mAh and offers 5-7 hours talk time, 450+ hours in standby or up to 35 hours of music play.
About connectivity, Nokia 500 offers pentaband radio coverage, 3G data up to HSUPA speeds. There’s also Bluetooth v2.1 and Wi-Fi b/g. The phone measures 111.3 x 53.8 x 14.1mm and weighs 93g – lighter than any other Symbian^3 phone to date.
About colors, all future customers of Nokia 500 will be able to change the back cover with one of the six changeable parts which are available. The colors available for Nokia 500 are: Black/White with covers in Black, Azure Blue, Coral Red, Purple, Khaki, Orange, Green, Pink and Silver.
After the X1-01 was announced yesterday, Nokia has introduced today a luxurious smartphone that incorporates 18-carat gold plating, a sapphire crystal and leather from one of Scotland’s finest Caledonian herds.
Nokia’s General Manager for Russia, Gabriel Speratti, told us that, “premium products like Nokia Oro have always been best sellers in Russia. We have a large number of users who are looking for products with a build quality and superior materials that attest to their success and social standing. In some areas, possession of such premium products is the passport to being taken seriously.”
The design of Nokia Oro is almost identical with the design of Nokia C7 announced by Nokia in September. Nokia Oro comes with latest Symbian operating system update, called Anna.
Nokia Oro features a 3.5 inches AMOLED display with 360 x 640 pixels resolution, 680 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM and 8 GB internal storage expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. Other specs of Oro smartphone include an 8 megapixels camera with dual-LED flash and autofocus capable to record videos at 720p resolution with 25 fps.
About connectivity, Nokia Oro is equipated with Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, 3G (HSDPA 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA 2 Mbps), TV-Out and NFC support.
Nokia Oro will start selling in selected countries across the Europe, Eastern Europe, China and the Middle East in Q3 2011. Before local taxes and operator subsidies (neither of which you’re likely to be too concerned about if you’re a customer for this device), it will cost upwards of 800 EUR.
