LG Thrill 4G, HTC Status and BlackBerry Torch 4G coming to AT&T
AT&T has recently announced the arrival of two fancy smartphones, the LG Thrill 4G, which is the US version of the LG Optimus 3D and the HTC Status, which is the US version of the HTC ChaCha.
Both of these two smartphones will reach AT&T stores somewhere before the end of July.
And let’s not forget about the BlackBerry Torch 4G that will also be carried by AT&T in a few weeks, somewhere in August. This new smartphone is rumored to be the carrier’s version of the Torch 2 that we’ve heard about a while ago. And these are no the only goodies that AT&T has prepared! It seems that the Pantech Pursuit II and Pantech Breeze III, are ready to replace the current Pursuit and Breeze II units.
Anyway, the future star of AT&T from all i’ve presented above is the Thrill 4G that runs the Android 2.2 OS, and features a 4.3 inch 3D screen with a dual core processor on board and the ability to record 3D videos via the dual cameras at the back. The Status, also known as the HTC ChaCha runs the Android 2.3 OS, a full QWERTY keyboard, and it’s very well because of its dedicated Facebook button.
Because the release date of any of these phone is not exactly known, there are also no words on the prices but we can expect to see the Thrill 4G for around $200 on contract and HTC Status for $100 on contract, anyway AT&T will soon announce all the official details about these new devices.
