Samsung Replenish – an eco-friendly Android device
We’re living in an era where everything is starting to focus on eco-friendly products in the attempt to bring different and innovative alternatives that will be less harmful to our environment.
Sprint thought about helping the environment and based on this new eco-friendly trend, has announced the Samsung Replenish, which is the world’s first “green” Android device. It is made out from more than 80% recyclable materials, and will also be packed with partially recycled plastics. So, if you’re thinking about going “green” without sacrificing technology, the Replenish will be available starting May 8.
Samsung Replenish comes equipped with a 600 MHz Qualcomm processor, and features a 2.8-inch QVGA TFT Display, Full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixels camera and a 1160 mAh battery. It also comes with an optional solar door charging accessory. This new eco-friendly Android device runs the Android 2.2 Froyo. The device comes with a Green ID Pack, which includes a variety of apps and mobile content that allows you to live a “greener” life.
Replenish will be available for the price of $49.99, which is a big incentive to go green, but Sprint is offering a $10 premium data charge for all new and existing customers that will purchase this new eco device.
