Release date for Samsung Galaxy Gio on Bell carrier

According to the latest rumors, the mid-range Android handset, Samsung Galaxy Gio, is ready to be released on Bell carrier starting next month, on August 4th. Galaxy Gio smartphone was presented for the first date at Mobile World Congress 2011.

Starting August 4th, the Canadians customers, can buy this decent Android smartphone with Gingerbread operating system. Samsung Galaxy Gio features a 3.2 inches touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 3.2 megapixels camera with autofocus, geo-tagging, smile detection and video recording capabilities (QVGA@15fps). Galaxy Gio is powered by a 800 MHz Qualcomm processor, has Wi-Fi b/g/n with Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v2.1.

It only packs 158 MB of users memory, but the storage can be easily expanded up to 32GB thanks to the included microSD card slot. Regarding this, it is worth mentioning that the phone will be delivered with a 2GB memory card in the sales package.
