Firefox 5 beta for Android was released – 1053 bugs fixes and new features

Firefox 5.0Firefox has recently launched the latest version of their browser app in Android Market, the Firefox 5 beta version.

This version brings 1053 bugs fixed and some cool new features. The performance of Firefox 5 is claimed to be 9% faster than Firefox 4 in the SunSpider test, the Do not track feature is now moved to the Options -> Privacy tab.

What’s is new in the version 5.0 beta of Firefox browser:

  • - Added Do Not Track option to Preferences, enabling you to tell sites if you prefer to opt-out of online behavioral tracking
  • - Smoother panning and CSS3 Animations
  • - Speed improvements, especially pertaining to page load and on 3G networks
  • - Important bug fixes including compatibility with SwiftKey

According to Firefox, the final version of Firefox 5 browser comes next month. You can download this version from Android Market.

is your firefox and your cumeotpr also what kind of addons you install, i have windows 7 with 1.5 memory ram and about 15 add ons and havent had any problems since firefox 5, i usually have on average 10 tabs open Firefox now is GOLD.
