In the battle between HTC Desire and iPhone price, the carrier offers the HTC Desire for about $55 if you sign up for a contract (about $30 per month) that includes 100 text messages, 100 minutes and 3 GB of data, or a contract (about $38 a month) that includes 500 text messages, 600 minutes, and 3 GB of data.
So, comparing with the iPhone 4 which can be found at Vodafone with a $332 price on a montly contract, the HTC Desire is a pretty good competitor.
Desire features a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor that helps you switch between application a lot more easily, a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera and a lot of connectivity options including WiF, GPS and Bluetooth.
Although, i have to admit that the iPhone 4 is a better competitor. It features a A4 processor, a 5-megapixel camera, a 3.5 inch Retina Display touchscreen, it can record HD videos and it’s got all the connectivity options you’d expect from a smartphone.
A definitely advantage for HTC Desire it’s the platform which is continuously evolving. The Android 2.2 and the 720p HD recording was allready been seen on this device, and maybe in a few months Google will release the official software updates.
